Born in the North East of England, Dr. Tom Bielby completed his Medical training in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. He spent time further specialising in Acute Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine in the West Midlands in the U.K. before starting his specialization training in Family Medicine. During this time, he met his future wife, who was a Canadian Doctor working in the same hospital. Following the birth of their second child they made the decision to emigrate to Canada with the aim of taking advantage of all the Okanagan has to offer across all four seasons. When not working, you will likely find them either Hiking or Biking, and if you ever happen to see him on a ski hill, he'd advise you give him a wide berth.

Dr. Tin Jasinovic is a primary care physician. He has recently completed his fellowship training in Sport and Exercise Medicine at the University of British Columbia where he obtained additional training in ultrasound-guided procedures for musculoskeletal conditions. Dr Will Vandenberg joined Hillside Medical Clinic in April 2020. He obtained his medical degree in South Africa and moved to Canada in 1991. Dr. Dux graduated from the University of Toronto in 1976. He spent the first part of his career working in family practice, emergency medicine, and occupational health in Ontario. In 1999 Dr. Dux moved to Lake Havasu City in Arizona, where he spent his time working in family practice and in emergency medicine. During his tensure in Ontario, he wrote two research papers. DR. FRANK HEALEY, MD
Dr. Healey graduated from London University, England in 1976. After GP residency obtained postgraduate qualifications in Pediatrics and Obstetrics & Gynaecology and became a member of the Royal College of GPs. He entered rural Family Practice in Wiltshire, England and then immigrated to Canada in 1996. Practiced for 10 years in Osoyoos, BC, where he was Chief of Staff in Oliver Hospital for several years, and went on to become President of the Section of FP of the Doctors of BC. From 2006 he had a practice in Vernon, and finally came to Turtle Bay in 2018 to enter semi-retirement and come closer to his home in Lake Country. He has been married for more then 30 years with five children, most of whom are in a medical profession. His hobbies and interests are skiing, cycling on E-bikes, and walking his dog on the many

Dr. Hlynka graduated from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Medicine in 2003, and then completed residency training in Family Medicine. After nearly fourteen years of practice in Winnipeg, he has now called the Okanagan home. His areas of special interest include diabetes, asthma and allergy. Dr. Hlynka has an academic appointment at the University of Manitoba where he has been involved in teaching and mentorship of undergraduate and post graduate medical students. Dr. Martin grew up in Kelowna and attended Washington State University, as well as the University of Alberta for his undergraduate work. He also attended the University of Alberta for his medical school, and subsequently entered the UBC Family Practice Residency Program. After graduating there, he came back to Kelowna to work locums and Emergency, until he joined Lake Country Family Practice in 1992. He is married to Correne, his high school sweetheart, and they have raised three wonderful children. His interests include ultra-endurance cycling, hockey and traveling with Correne. During riding season, which is from March to October, his bike can be seen parked at the back of the lunch room, as he enjoys riding back and forth to work in the beautiful Okanagan weather.

Dr. Jessica Strasberg grew up in Toronto, Ontario and practiced Family Medicine there until 2014 when she moved to Kelowna. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis and completed her Masters in Education at University of Toronto in Counselling Psychology. She worked at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto performing Psychometric testing for a year before attending and graduating from McMaster School of Medicine in 2005.
Dr. Strasberg moved to Kelowna with her family in 2014 where she started a part-time family practice. Interested in women’s health, Dr. Strasberg decided to start a clinic with Dr. Best that offered contraceptive counselling including IUD and Nexplanon implant insertion with the goal of providing women with the information needed to assist in making their contraceptive decisions.
