Family Doctor - Full Time, Hillside Medical Clinic

We are currently seeking one full-time family doctor to complete our team of 6 full-time equivilent GP's at our Glenmore location (Hillside Medical Clinic).

Medical Staff Opportunities

Medical Receptionist - Full Time, Turtle Bay Medical Clinic

Evolve Allied Health has an opportunity for a positive, driven and organized individual to join our quickly growing team as a Full-Time Medical Receptionist at our Turtle Bay Location. We are a group of 25+ family physicians, working out of 3 locations in Lake Country and Kelowna; offering a combination of Family Practice, Women’s Health, Mental Health and Walk-In services.

 

As Medical Receptionist, you will be the warm, welcoming and compassionate ‘face’ of our organization and will demonstrate a high level of patience and empathy for the needs of our patients.

 

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Greet, screen, verify ID/coverage and check-in pateints entering the clinic;

  • Answer incoming phone calls and either action or triage patient requests based on the nature of the call;

  • Register new walk-in and family practice patients in the EMR;

  • Create tasks (ticklers) within the EMR and assign to the appropriate team member for completion;

  • Book, confirm, modify or cancel appointments as requested by patients, MOA’s and physicians;

  • Build and maintain physician schedules within the EMR and online booking platform; - Monitor email inboxes and update Medimap availability as required In addition, you will periodically assist our other medical support staff with the following tasks:

  • Triage and/or completion of generally assigned tasks (ticklers) within the EMR

  • Management of incoming/outgoing e-faxes and consultations

  • Preparation, loading and and cleaning of exam rooms

3+ years experience working as a receptionist, medical office assistant or other patient-facing administrative role within a private primary care setting are required. Experience with Oscar EMR would be beneficial. This position is full-time, Monday to Friday and will support patients in our Lake Country Location, Turtle Bay Medical. As a member of our medical support team, you will be working alongside our amazing team of Medical Office Assistants, Nurses and Physicians in providing the best patient experience possible.

Billing Coordinator, Full-time, Glenmore

Evolve Allied Health has an opportunity for an experienced an highly motivated individual to join our quickly growing team as a Full-Time Billing Coordinator. As Billing Coordinator, you will be responsible for all insured and private billings within the organization. You will support our managers and providers in ensuring timely submission and accuracy of billings, and resolution of any discrepancies or rejections.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Daily verification and submission of billings within the EMR(s) for all providers in the organization - Coordinate with providers when they have billed incorrectly and illuminate areas of opportunity

  • Interpret chart notes and diagnostics codes to ensure billings are correct prior to submission

  • Reconcilliation of any billing rejections or discrepancies

  • Prepare reports as needed by the management team

  • Track yearly incentinve billings and ensure providers are aware of opportunites within their patient panel

  • Prepare quarterly 'provider report cards' for the management team

  • Maintain awareness of changes in billing codes/practices and ensure that management team is kept up to date

  • Various other duties as needed

A minimum of 3 years experience with MSP, WSBC, ICBC, RCMP, and private billings is required; in addition to working knowledge of Oscar and Med Access EMR's. This position is full-time, is based out of our Glenmore Location and will be available beginning August of 2021. Periodic travel will be required between our locations. As a member of our administrative team, you will be working alongside our amazing team of Managers, Medical Office Assistants, Nurses and Physicians in providing the best patient experience possible.
