Evolve Allied Health is currently looking for a full-time family physician to join our growing team as we expand our operations. We are currently seeking one full-time family doctor to join our team of 9 full-time equivalent GP's at our Lake Country location (Turtle Bay Medical Clinic).

Floating Locum Support - Full Time, Various Locations

Evolve Allied Health is currently looking for a full-time locum doctor to join our growing team as we expand our operations. Kelowna is located in the heart of the Okanagan and is surrounded by beautiful lakes, mountains, pristine vineyards and orchards. We are currently seeking a full-time, dedicated locum doctor to provide coverage for our family doctors during planned and unplanned absences. Additionally, this role will assist with walk-in overflow and act as ‘Doctor of The Day’ for physicians who need assistance reducing wait times for their patients. Full-time work is guaranteed.

Office Manager - Full Time, Group One Medical Clinic (Springfield)

As Office Manager, you will be the ‘face’ of our organization both internally and externally, and will demonstrate a high level of patience and empathy for the needs of our employees, providers and patients. Your daily responsibilities will include:

 

  • Ensure that all billing is submitted accurately and on time, in conjunction with the centralized billing team;

  • Calculate private/MSP doctor payments and submit to the accounting team for processing;

  • Supervision of medical support staff, including MOA’s and nursing personnel;

  • Coordinate with the Owner and Medical Director to help steer the overall direction of the clinic and to ensure ongoing compliance with all municipal, provincial and CPSBC guidelines;

  • Ordering and management of supply and equipment inventory;

  • Resolve all patient escalations, including proactive monitoring of complaints and outreach to patients on social media channels and online reviews;

  • Resolve any physician concerns, including minor technical issues with PC’s, printers, medical equipment, etc;

  • Process chart transfer requests, legal documentation requests, ICBC/WSBC paperwork, etc;

  • Create, send and track payment of invoices for private services or 3rd party payees. 


 

A valid MOA diploma from an accredited college and 4+ years experience working as an MOA; and 3+ years as an Office Manager is required. Experience with Med Access EMR would be beneficial.

Medical Office Assistant - Full Time & Part Time, Various Locations

Your daily responsibilities will include:

- Answer incoming phone calls and triage based on the nature of the call;

- Screen patients for COVID-19 symptoms over the phone and upon arrival at the clinic;

- Confirm patient demographics and verify insurance coverage during patient check-in;

- Book, confirm, modify or cancel appointments as requested by patients, MOA’s and physicians;

- Management of incoming/outgoing e-faxes and consultations;

- Preparation, loading and and cleaning of exam rooms;

- Triage and/or completion of generally assigned tasks within the EMR;

- Collect payment for private services and post within the EMR.

 

In addition, you will periodically assist our physicians with the following tasks:

- Measurement of patient’s height, weight, blood pressure;

- Conduct eye exams and collect urine samples;

- Act as chaperone where needed.

 

A valid MOA diploma from an accredited college or 3+ years experience working in a private primary care setting is required. Experience with Med Access or Oscar EMR’s would be beneficial.

- Preparation, loading and and cleaning of exam rooms;

- Triage and/or completion of generally assigned tasks within the EMR;

- Process PRP samples in our Arthrex Angel PRP system

- Process APS samples in our Arthrex APS system

- Collect payment for private services and post within the EMR.

 

In addition, you will periodically assist our physicians with the following tasks:

- Measurement of patient’s height, weight, blood pressure;

- Assist our Sports Medicine providers during minor procedures and therapies

 

A valid MOA diploma from an accredited college or 3+ years experience working in a private, referral based practice is required. Experience with Oscar EMR and sport’s medicine processes would be beneficial, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
